After the shoot we arrived at the Pier in Santa Monica just in time to watch my second California sun set!!! The Pier was yet another great date spot!! 
) There were shops, restaurants, rides, and the coolest man with these puppets he would make dance to music!! Like L.A. Santa Monica is something I had never seen anything like. Now that I’m back in North Carolina everything looks so boring! Seeing the landscaping everywhere was one of the favorite things about my trip.
The next day started early as we drove over to Playboy’s Studio West!! Yet another place I watched on t.v. only this time I was actually there! The set was everything and more than I had expected. Equipment all around, lights, the clothes, everything!! I had the coolest camera man and assistant along with a wonderful stylist and makeup artist. It was the real deal.
Not once was I nervous about the shoot… I was so ready, it was something I’ve wanted so badly for some time now! And the chance had come and it was mine. I felt a side of me I had never known I had come out and it was unreal! The group of people with my from 9 to 6 on my set where awesome. They made it fun and I got to be the goofy Miss Social that I am!!
Later on we had lunch at the Ivy & checked into The Roosevelt where we met David Arquette. There I got to see the Hollywood sight for the first time!! The view was amazing as the sun set… I must say it would be a great date spot!! )
That night back at my hotel it was hard to sleep. L.A. was the most amazing place… I never wanted to leave!!
As you may know I am Playboys first ever Miss Social and everyone is dying to know more about my trip to L.A.!!!
Wednesday started off early as I took the first flight out with my friend Danyelle for LAX!!! Hours later we were LA bound and where we were greeted by the most awesome group of people from the Playboy office in Chicago! From LAX it was straight to the Mansion where I was crowned Playboys Miss Social by a former Playmate, Miriam Gonzalez (Miss March 2001). After lots of pictures in front of the Mansion the tour began! I’m a big Playboy fan and Girls Next Door fan. It was so unreal being at the home where all of the action takes place! The zoo was the first thing I got to see. It was so wild seeing the peacocks running around feet from you! I saw birds I had NEVER seen before and even a type of monkey I haven’t seen before! (( View Pics )) I could have stayed with there monkeys all day but the tour had to continue. Next up was the Grotto and YES it is the shizz… and a lot bigger than I thought!! Later on in the gym I took a quick swing on the pole in the gym (( I wasn’t warned it was a spinning pole!!)) The game house was one of my favs, it was really chill with lots of things to do!! Before leaving I made a wish in the well… I can’t say what it was or it won’t come true. But when it comes true you’ll know what it was!!! The mansion in a nut shell… THERE IS NOTHING HEF HASN’T THOUGHT OF!!!
My mom made me this sign so I figured I’d post it LOL! I’m still trying to convince myself that I really won! I’ve done three local interviews in Raleigh, NC and I’ve even had gossip blog write-ups! It’s too exciting sharing a news item with Lindsay Lohan, Spencer Pratt, and of course Snookie!
Now I’m running all over town looking for the right things to pack for L.A. but it seems unreal that I’m even going. I’m the girl that dreams that I’m going to Cali… I just never actually make it there!
This time next week I will be in L.A. for a photo shoot with Playboy. My mind can only dream of what may become of this trip, hopefully this is only my beginning with Playboy. I stay up all night wondering what the set will look like, who I’ll meet, where I’ll go, what I’ll see… I’m ecstatic!
Being this contest was online I never had the chance to meet any of the finalist in person. However I have to say, the people really chose great girls! Though none of these girls know me either but during and even after the contest the other girls have been so nice and supportive! Even though I still haven’t met them I’m started to feel like I really know some of them!

Its crazy how life works out. I went from just an average fun college girl to Playboys first ever Miss Social. This morning I went to the grocery store with my friend when I got a call from Playboy Radio live telling me I had won. It was the most indescribable feeling I’ve ever had. In that moment all the hard work I had put into this contest paid off and a dream of mine came true. When I nominated myself in the beginning I honestly didn’t even know if it was really Playboy but I went with it. Once I made finalist I gained so much confidence in myself. I never saw myself getting cut, but at the same time I couldn’t see myself winning either.
If you don’t already know I’m currently in Raleigh, N.C. however I haven’t been here long. Through this contest I had the chance to make a lot of new friends that were very supportive throughout the contest. Playboy’s Miss Social contest has helped me come out of my shell and enjoy life more. I can’t wait to keep in touch with everyone I’ve met and I look forward to sharing my stores with everyone on my Playboy journey!
Next stop… PLAYBOY MANSION!!! )
